Our 2025 Chinese GP Predictions

Formula 1 heads to Shanghai on Friday for the first sprint weekend of the year, and with the FIA throwing in a surprise technical change, can Red Bull bring the fight? Rudy, Amy and Seb make their predictions for this weekend's GP.

Lando Norris won a wet Melbourne opener last time out, ahead of Max Verstappen and George Russell, whilst his teammate Oscar Piastri found the grass and slipped down to P9. The Aussie will be hoping to bounce back and make sure Lando isn’t able to build a significant gap at the top of the championship.

McLaren will once again go into the weekend as favourites, however with the FIA implementing tighter restrictions of the flexing of rear wings, Red Bull will hope to be closer on a track Max dominated last year.

With the weekend being a sprint weekend, we have a couple of added categories so lets start with our Sprint Pole predictions.
