Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly have been disqualified from the Chinese GP.

Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc's car were deemed to be underweight, whilst Lewis Hamilton's car had excessive wear on its skid block.

Leclerc and Gasly's cars both weighed 799kg after fuel was removed, 1kg below the minimum weight limit.

There's a suggestion within the paddock that the two may have suffered in a similar vein to George Russell in Spa last year, with the long tyre stints causing the issue.

As for Hamilton, his skid blocks were worn down to between 8.5mm and 8.6mm, with the minimum limit set at 9mm.

The result means Esteban Ocon is promoted to a remarkable P5, with Kimi Antonelli P6, Alex Albon P7, Ollie Bearman P8, Lance Stroll P9 and Carlos Sainz P10.
