Oscar Piastri made it three victories in a row and four for the season, as he led a McLaren one-two to extend his lead at the top of the F1 Drivers Championship.

After Max Verstappen took pole on the Saturday, Lando Norris attempted to make a move on the Dutchman going into turn 1, but was forced wide and dropped down the order.

It soon became clear that the McLaren, though, did have the upper hand over a race distance, as Piastri, who had made his way into P2, squeezed his way past Max and into the lead.

While the Australian was comfortable from there out, Norris eventually picked Max off for P2 after the pair exchanged a tight battle.

Mercedes' George Russell claimed the final spot on the podium after pitting under a VSC that was called due to Ollie Bearman stopping on track.

Jack Doohan retired early and endured a difficult race. Pressure increased on the Australian after a lap one puncture caused by contact with Liam Lawson.
